Computer to Copier

All files except pdf (Adobe Acrobat Format) and Freehand files must include graphics, screen and postscript fonts or truetype fonts. A printout is required to confirm our output to your image.

Mac File Formats

• Microsoft Word with all fonts & graphic files
• Any Word processor saved as RTF (Rich Text Format) with all fonts & graphic files
• Freehand MX 2004 & Illustrator CS or below with text converted to paths, embed all images
• Freehand MX 2004 & Illustrator CS or below saved as pdf file, embed all fonts
• Pagemaker 6-6.5 saved as pdf file, embed all fonts
• Pagemaker 6-6.5 with all fonts & graphic files
• Indesign CS with all fonts & graphic files
• Clarisworks 5 or below with all fonts & graphic files

Font Substitutions: We will use the closest Macintosh Font to substitute pc only fonts in Pagemaker and Quark PC files. To avoid this, use the pdf file (Adobe Acrobat Format) option, embed all fonts.

Printable Area: Color and B&W copier prints are available in 7.5"x l 0" on 8.5"x l 1 " paper, 7.5"x l 3" on 8.5"x l 4" paper and 1 0"x l 6" on 11"x l 7" paper and compatible sizes. Remember to leave a 1/2 inch margin to avoid image clipping.

Images: should be tiff, eps, pict, jpeg or gif format. We recommend tiff or eps files, 300 dpi for best reproduction of color, grayscale or halftone images, 600 dpi for line art.

File Size: Excessive resolution, beyond 300 dpi, or 600 dpi for line art, will result in longer processing time at no increase in quality. Extra turn-around time and processing charges may occur for larger files.

E-mail Files: Max of 2 megabytes compressed as zip archives, Stuff-it Binhex Archive or Publisher Pac n' Go Archives. Compressing is necessary to protect files from corruption during transmission. Files over 2 meg - 3.5 meg maximum will require an additional download charge.

Media: We accept PC or Mac formatted 100 megabyte zip disks, floppy disks and CD's.
